Stuart founded Independent Lending in 2005 and has grown the business through his passion for developing client relationships and providing excellent customer service. He is a Chartered Financial Planner and in 2022 became a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.

Stuart is committed to maintaining up to date relevant industry knowledge to support the business and obtain the best outcomes for clients.

James is a highly experienced corporate, commercial and retail banker with over 30 years experience. He is an experienced commercial finance professional who believes strongly that outstanding customer service is the key to success in business and will endeavour to provide it to all his relationships. He looks to present the best possible deal for the client based on their individual needs.

James is based in the South West but regularly works from our Head Office in Sheffield.

After completing her A-Levels, Olivia joined Independent Lending as an Apprentice in 2015. She quickly completed her apprenticeship and has now completed her Mortgage qualifications and has been a Mortgage Adviser for Independent Lending since 2021. Olivia has become a respected member of the team and provides valuable advice and support to our clients.

Olivia has recently been appointed as a Director of Independent Lending and is committed to providing high levels of customer service for our clients.

Dionne joined Independent Lending in 2012 after gaining a degree in Maths and Statistics. She has over 30 years experience in banking, finance and office management. Dionne is committed to ongoing professional development and has graduated from the University of Warwick with an MBA and successfully completed the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning with the CII, becoming a Chartered Financial Planner in 2020 and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.

Dionne does not give advice but provides operational support to the team and is passionate about providing high levels of customer service.

Tom joined the Independent Lending Team as a mortgage administrator in July 2023 after graduating from New Buckinghamshire University.

He has quickly become an invaluable member of the team providing excellent customer service to our Residential and Commercial clients. He is currently training to become a financial adviser.

Ashley joined the Independent Lending team in May 2024 and has extensive experience working and supervising in Mortgages and Finance. She has recently spent some time developing and managing the family bakery business but was keen to return to Financial Services utilising her knowledge and skills to provide a service she is passionate about.

Ashley delivers high levels of customer service to all our clients and provides administrative support to the Commercial Finance Director.
